I read the reviews and had high hopes for this mechanic. I brought my car in to help diagnose a squealing belt and fix this issue. I dropped it off on a Thursday and received no update until I called them the following Monday. They told me my car was ready to go and they had tried to call that Friday however I have no missed call or voicemail. When I picked up my car they said their technician couldn't recreate the issue and my belts are fine. Unfortunately I had to take my keys, and drop off my rental before coming back to take my car afterhours. I should have started it up when I got my keys because after returning immediately the squealing was present and only got worse after I drove. I left them a voicemail immediately asking them to call me back so we can resolve this issue. A full week has passed with no word from them. TLDR: I paid $107 for an oil change I didn't ask for, my issue was unresolved, and they need to get their ears checked because my belt is still singing!

Being from out of town, my vehicle wouldn't start and needed to be towed to a shop. With my family's limited time and extreme urgency for leaving the next day, Bratten Auto answered my phone call and accepted my truck late on a Friday afternoon. Not only were they able to get my truck running the very next morning, but Ryan and the crew were extremely helpful and professional throughout the ordeal. These guys are the best! Known to be honest and not ever tries to over charge on parts and/or labor. They are not the cheapest service shop in the area but you get what you pay for. They also offer a military discount with is hugely appreciated. Great shop, great service!

Recently had an older domestic car into Braaten's north location. Had recently had an oil change at one of the big dealerships in town that informed me I had an axle seal failing amongst other things on their checklist. The manager at Braaten's (Ryan) was very upfront with me and explained that there was a small weeping of the seal. However that given the age of the car, and the very minor nature of the leak, that it wasn't a necessary repair at the moment and to just continue monitoring it every so often. It most likely will be a non-factor for the remaining life of the car. He could have done the expensive seal repair and I would have been none the wiser but instead i just had a few dollars of routine maintence. Braaten's gained a new customer as after this visit, if they tell me something is needed, I will trust that it's actually needed. I fully recommend them.

10/10 recommend! My friend had given an outstanding review so I figured I would at least get a quote. They quoted what I figured and got to work. Within two days of getting parts it was done! It wasn’t an easy job. They repeatedly attempted to get the alternator to act up (because I asked since it wasn’t charging for me every time.) it worked every time so they decided not to change it. Makes sense not to change what’s not broken. I went to pick it up and within 10 minutes it quit. They got it fixed the next day. They went above and beyond and they will forever have my business!
