Our Customers Say It Best
I was quoted a little over $1,000 for a repair on my car. I took one of my days off from work to get there a couple hours before noon as I was told it would take some time to do the repair. When they were done 4 hours later the bill was $1,900... Turns out they forgot to put a little over $800 worth of parts on the quote. Funny that it was mentioned they had noticed that mistake beforehand and thought it was weird. It would have been nice to know they noticed that BEFORE doing the work and charging me, not after. But mistakes happen, that I could understand to a degree. What sits less right with me is that I watched my vehicle sit there for a whole hour, untouched, before they took it in. Then they closed for an hour for lunch. I was at the shop for just a hair over 4 hours and was charged 4 hours of labor at $199 an hour. But wait... If my car sat untouched for a whole hour (it was in my vision the entire time as I was in the lobby, this length of time is not an assumption or exaggeration), and if they went on an hour lunch, really only 2 of those hours were accurate. So ~$400 of my money went up in smoke for no good reason on top of the quote almost doubling. Cool. Super sad, actually. I had heard good things from people about this place, but like I said that doesn't sit right with me. If something had come up that was unexpected, stuff happens I get the price going up for additional parts and labor. But they noticed their +$800 parts mess up before starting work and didn't inform me, and then charged me for twice the time it took?? And in reading other comments, they apparently charge $199 an hour for labor when their warranty doesn't apply. If that's true, I was not informed of that which would have been real nice knowing ahead of time that I have no warranty on the repair. So if you like quotes almost doubling, paying $199 an hour for parking, and paying $199 for other peoples lunch time, I'd highly recommend. I just hope their quality of work is decent, seeing as I'll be traveling across the state multiple times in the near future.

Been going here for the past 5 years. They have always been polite and professional. I would recommend this shop for anyone looking to get work done on their vehicle.

Friendly staff. Transparent and reasonable pricing. Have been a customer for years and have never been dissatisfied.

We had an overall decent experience, however there was little to no communication on what was wrong with our vehicle and any updates on when the vehicle would be finished which made it difficult for us to plan around. We have heard this comment from others in our circle and wish there was better communication throughout the whole process, not just when the vehicle is ready to be picked up.

Thorough and friendly! I would definitely recommend these guys over the dealership service departments in Grand Forks!

They are very knowledgeable, honest, and their prices are fair. Excellent customer service! It’s also nice to have a business that actually answers the phone

Our radiator hose broke and they were able to get us a part and get it fixed in about two and a half hours. We were so happy because we don't live in Grand forks

Really wish I didn't have to write a bad review on this one. Brought my vehicle in to get a few fixes done, one of which being a rear diff fluid change and additive add for chattering. This service was so blatantly barely done/if it even counts that the chattering is just as bad as when i brought it in. Called into shop to complain about this and was given the basic talk around as if I didn't know what was needed to be done. We are a very mechanical factory but without access to a lift I chose to defer it to a professional. I was only charged for 2 quart of the gear oil(when the truck holds 2.75 so I should've been charged for 3), the plate wasn't taken off to ensure all the old oil came out(they chose a vacuum approach which is not recommended by Ford(, and I wasn't charged for any additive(which cost more than the oil). When I called to point this out the guy on the phone tried to told me they only removed 2 quarts of oil(thus the 2 quarts charged) which means not all the oil got removed, and that he "chose not to chose for the additive". I've never been to a shop that gives things away, what's used gets paid for. So now my truck is not actually fixed and they're trying to talk their way out of it. I just want the service done right.
